Two reading notes. Trial results are averages of large groups — individual responses spread widely around every mean reported here. And a change measured against placebo means more than a change measured against nothing, which is why the placebo arms appear alongside the treatment numbers in Chapter 4.

A note on nutrition and training figures
The protein range (one to two grams per kilogram of ideal body weight; 80 to 130 grams a day for many adults) and the resistance-training cadence (two to three sessions a week) carry over from the clinically reviewed WellForm WebBook GLP-1 Side Effects and Safety (edition 2026.1), where they were sourced and approved for the same reader population.
