What this result means

Convert starting and current weight into pounds or kilograms lost and percentage total-body-weight change, with optional BMI arithmetic.

Percent total-body-weight change = (starting − current) ÷ starting × 100. Educational milestones are 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% of the starting weight. Optional BMI uses the CDC adult formula: weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². Height is not required. BMI is a screening calculation, not a diagnosis.

What this tool cannot tell you

  • What you will weigh next month.
  • Whether a milestone means treatment is working or failing.
  • Whether BMI category or a dose change is appropriate.
