What should the curve show?

What this result means

See an educational remaining-fraction curve from the labeled elimination half-life — not a measured blood level.

The curve is first-order remaining fraction: remaining = 0.5^(hours ÷ labeled half-life hours). Results are dose-equivalents of the most recent dose (that dose = 100%), not ng/mL. A generic weekly count does not accumulate. Same-strength leftover requires an explicit confirmation that every counted dose was the same milligram strength. If strength changed, each milligram in the newest-first history is weighted by (that dose ÷ most recent dose) only when the current label states dose-proportional exposure for those strengths. The current Ozempic label makes that claim for 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg, not for the 0.25 mg initiation dose; leftover from 0.25 mg is not weighted. Leftover from more than one dose also requires confirmation that those doses occurred on an uninterrupted once-weekly 7-day schedule. Missed, delayed, or early doses fail closed to the single-dose curve; the model does not invent irregular intervals. Wegovy and Ozempic use the labeled “approximately 1 week” half-life as 7 days. Mounjaro uses the labeled “approximately 5 days.” Zepbound uses the labeled 5-to-6-day range as a band, not a single invented midpoint. The model does not draw absorption, body weight, or an unlabeled strength. Dates, if entered, only compute elapsed calendar days since the most recent dose.

What this tool cannot tell you

  • Your actual blood or serum medication level.
  • Whether to take a dose early, late, split, or skipped.
  • Whether to switch medications, discontinue, or treat an emergency.
  • How leftover from a different milligram strength compares unless you enter that labeled history.
  • How leftover from missed, delayed, or early doses compares. Use the single-dose curve unless every counted dose was 7 days apart.
  • How leftover from an Ozempic 0.25 mg initiation dose compares to a later 0.5 mg, 1 mg, or 2 mg dose. The current label does not state dose-proportional exposure at 0.25 mg.
