The FDA-cleared indication is specific: adults with major depressive disorder who did not achieve satisfactory improvement from prior antidepressant medication in the current episode.

Safety screening

Tell us about implants, seizures, and mood changes

Magnetic stimulation is not appropriate for every person. Your consultation should include the health details that can affect risk or treatment planning.

  • Metal in or near the head and implanted electronic or magnetic devices.
  • A personal or family seizure history, fainting, neurologic conditions, or significant head injury.
  • Current medications, supplements, substance use, and recent medication changes.
  • A history of bipolar disorder, mania, or new symptoms such as unusually elevated mood or reduced need for sleep.
  • Pregnancy, severe headaches, hearing concerns, or another condition the team asks you to disclose.
